Shipping & Return Policy
General Terms
These terms apply to all sales made through bontaria.com and govern all product orders, shipments, and returns.
No changes or modifications to these terms shall be binding unless approved in writing by an authorized representative of BONTARIA (Laura Molina Design LLC).
By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge and agree to these conditions.
Price & Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD).
Sales tax, shipping costs, and applicable fees are calculated at checkout.
Why is shipping higher for multiple items?
We want your BONTARIA trays to arrive pristine! Because our trays are large, ordering multiple items requires us to use a specialized, larger shipping box to ensure they don't get damaged in transit.
The shipping rate you see at checkout comes directly from UPS based on the space your order takes up in the truck. We pass these carrier rates on to you with no markup
You will see the total price before confirming your purchase.
Payments are processed securely through approved payment methods.
BONTARIA reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order if payment cannot be authorized or verified.
Delivery
Estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout and may vary depending on your location and product availability.
For made-to-order or international items, estimated lead times are shown on each product page.
If there is any concern regarding the customer’s ability to complete payment, BONTARIA reserves the right to withhold delivery until full payment is received.
Unclaimed or Undeliverable Packages
If a package is returned to us as undeliverable or unclaimed, we will notify you via email.
You may choose to have the package re-shipped by covering the new shipping cost.
If you prefer a refund, the original shipping charge and a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund amount.
Returns & Exchanges
Our return period is 14 days from the date of delivery.
If you wish to return an item, please contact us at info@bontaria.com within this timeframe.
Please clearly state your order number, the product(s) you wish to return, and the reason for your return.
Unless the item was received damaged or defective:
You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
Returned items must be in unused, original condition, with all packaging intact.
Custom-made, made-to-order, and original artwork are not eligible for return.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after we receive and inspect your return.
Please allow up to 2–3 weeks for the full process.
A 15% restocking fee applies to all approved returns (waived only for defective or incorrect items).
Damaged or Faulty Items
If an item arrives damaged or defective, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery at info@bontaria.com, including photos of the damage and packaging.
Once reviewed, we’ll arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.
Please keep all packaging until the issue is resolved, as it may be required for carrier inspection.
Condition of Returned Products
Returned items must remain in the same condition as when delivered.
You may inspect the item upon arrival, but it must not be used.
If a product shows signs of use, wear, or damage, the return will not qualify for a refund.
Force Majeure
BONTARIA is not responsible for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
natural disasters, wars, labor strikes, supply shortages, transportation delays, fire, flood, or equipment failure.
In such cases, performance of obligations will be postponed until the situation has been resolved.
Governing Law
This Shipping & Return Policy and all transactions are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA.
Any dispute arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Westchester County, New York.
